Cermet-based indexable faceted cutting inserts (IFCI)

Description

VIRIAL Ltd. offers IFCIs based on tungsten-free cemented carbides, both with PVD coating and uncoated.

Applications

VHS58 – is a WC-based IFCI with PVD coating, ideal for machining of stainless steels, also under unstable parameters, and for refractory alloys based on Fe, Ni and Co.

VTS36 – IFCIs are based on uncoated tungsten-free cemented carbides (cermets) and are used for finishing of cast iron, carbon and alloyed steel grades.

VTS3615
- IFCIs are based on tungsten-free cemented carbide (cermet) with PVD coating and offer improved wear resistance. These IFCIs are used for machining of carbon and alloyed steel grades.
